I had BIG plans for the super moon...I had sketches. I could picture the shot I wanted in my head. I knew the settings I needed to capture a cool shot. I had everything but visibility. I wanted to shoot my friend Jack crossing the Crib Goch ridge line that leads up to the Mt Snowdon summit, but unfortunately the clouds set in and all we got was a brief glimpse of an amazing sunset above a cloud inversion. I was desperate to use my new Elinchrom off camera flash system, so the next day we went to the slate quarries to play around with it a little. I feel like it is a game changer already for my photography!
